Last week, we released Barebone Ionic 2 with some exciting brand new features all of you Ionic 2 lovers will enjoy. Let’s cut to the chase and get to know a little about them.
Slack Webhook
Post messages from your Ionic 2 app into a Slack channel! The app makes use of HTTP requests with a JSON payload that includes the message text.

Google Places Autocomplete
Provide a type-ahead search box for addresses and places! The app returns place and address predictions in response to user search queries. As the user types, suggestions for places such as businesses, addresses and points of interest are returned from the Google Places API.

Google Analytics
Barebone Ionic 2 leverages Google Analytics to help you measure and optimise user acquisition and engagement with your mobile app. It demonstrates how to track the number of users in your app, their characteristics, where they come from and what version of your app they use.

Tabs with Badges
Notification badges is a very common UI component. Barebone Ionic 2 displays a badge to indicate there is new information associated with the tab it is on.
